New Inclusive Montessori Program

Why this program?

At Hallandale House of Learning, we believe in an inclusive education that respects
individual differences and values each child’s unique abilities. We've created a support
model within our Montessori environment to help children reach their full potential.

Who is it for?

Children ages 3 to 6, with or without a diagnosis, who may benefit from individualized
support for their academic, emotional, and social development.

How does it work?

• Professional Support: Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior
Technicians (RBTs) work alongside our Montessori teachers to support each child’s holistic
development.
• Transition Room: A dedicated space for 4–5 children to work on essential skills before
fully joining a Montessori classroom.
• Gradual Inclusion: Children transition into their Montessori class at their own pace with
the support they need.
• Ongoing Collaboration: Regular meetings with families, teachers, school leadership, and
therapists to track progress and adjust plans.

How is it funded?

• Major medical insurance providers (including Medicaid)
• State scholarships (- Step Up for Students – FES-UA)
• Private family funds

Why is this a great opportunity?

• Specialized support provided within the school setting
• Personalized plans that identify each child’s strengths and challenges, tailored to their pace
• A warm, inclusive, and compassionate school community
